Information WORKUBA 7
The VIIth Workuba (Workshop International of Modern Dance & Afro Latin) will be held from September 9 until September 23, with the continuing aim of integrating afrolatin with contemporary dance, an ongoing project since 1991.
Marta Bercy, General Director, who is known for her work in CUBALLET (Practical Course of the Cuban School of Ballet) launched Workuba in Buenos Aires in September, 2003. It has held classes of tango and milonga, meringue, history of latin music and dance, all conducted by teachers from Argentina, the Dominican Republic and Cuba. Classes for professional ballet dancers have also been offered.
Workuba 7 - Class Schedule:
Contemporary dance, Latin Jazz dance, Capoeira (Brazil), Afrocuban dances Orishas, Cuban Salsa, Make - Up, Percussion, Choreographic Composition, Stretching.
Workuba is addressed to all levels, with a minimum age of 15. The staff have a good track record. Limited Number. Fees: $ 120. pesos
